Make your car smart with this after market infotainment system from Parrot that supports Android Auto and Apple Car Play.

The RNB6 from France based Parrot will be out sometime this year and the company said it hopes to price it under $1000. It's an interesting product because it does what so many want – it integrates your smartphone into the car's infotainment system. With it you could pull up navigation, music and media in a familiar, but driver friendly interface.

The unit has a 7-inch capacitive touch screen, which means it feels a lot like your tablet. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop, but some work still needs to be done on the software and for good reason. At times it seemed buggy and sluggish and even needed to be restarted once.

The RNB6 is also delivered with dashcam that syncs with the system
